Mixed Media, Graphic Design, Art Installation

Four mirrors featuring an opportunity to start a conversation about your experience with self isolation. The participant is invited to write their experiences on one of the four mirrors with chalk marker, filling the mirror with different stories.

These stories put the audience in the point of view of the person who left their story behind, seeing themselves in the mirror while the messages overlay their appearance.

Placed at Blaak Square on December 13th the mirrors quickly filled with stories, insights, experiences and other point of views left by people passing by.

Placing the four mirrors in the middle of the square they transformed into social bulletin boards and acted as a centerpiece of connecting people, even in a time where it is possible to feel very disconnected with each other.
